Costa Rican Vacations is a website whose purpose is to help tourists create their dream vacation in Costa Rica. But the site is also home to a scholarship program which is open to students enrolled with a degree in the following fields: tourism, hospitality and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

You will need to have a minimum GPA of 2.8 in order to be considered for the award.<\/p>\n

To apply interested parties will have to create an original 600-700-word essay in which they are expected to talk about the reasons why they chose their field of study and detail their future career goals.<\/p>\n

The winners will be selected based on demonstrated desire to activate in the industry, as well as innovation. Two scholarships worth $1,000 will be awarded each year. The deadline for this funding program is February 15.<\/p>\n
